Professional Credentials
Dr. Lewellis earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Haverford College and his MD and PhD at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at Stanford University.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the Wisconsin Dermatological Society. As a member of AAD’s Media Expert Team, he is also active in the National Eczema Association (NEA) and the Foundation for Research and Education in Dermatology (FRED).
He has specialized training in cosmetic dermatology, laser treatments, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancer. He has received AAD’s Excellence in Dermatology Award and has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Dermatology by Healthgrades.
